We recommend using the BigBand hydraulic protection membrane from the "metal profile" to waterproof the insulated fold roof.

A thin layer of polypropylene membrane sits between two layers of spanbond to form the three parts of such a membrane. This arrangement allows BigBand M to perform exceptionally well:

  • High water detergence – more than 1000 mm of water column. Thanks to this, it does not pass moisture and protects the insulation from condensate, dripping on the inside of the roofing material.

  • High strength (breakdown) – 180 N/50mm along and 100 N/50mm across. Thanks to this, the Bigband M membrane has a fairly high strength, and it will be difficult to damage it when installing.

A folding roof’s hydraulic protection membrane should be installed directly on the insulation, on rafters that don’t sag. In this instance, a unique connecting tape from the "metal profile" is required. This will ensure that the airtight protective waterproofing layer.
