Layer No. 1: Chernova Paul

Sergei clarified why installing the heated floor was necessary.

– Even though they were wearing slippers, my wife and I wanted our three small children to avoid standing on the chilly floor after taking a shower. At the same time, I opposed the installation of a single electric convector in a comparatively small bathroom.

Consequently, we made the decision to create an infrared warm film floor.

The man remarks, "I noticed that I had a black floor from a focusing stove (made of wood chips and formaldehyde resin) when developing."

There were multiple phases involved in installing the heated flooring in the frame house. The bathroom’s heated floor is made up of three layers, the first of which is referred to as a substrate.

Sergey placed an online order for a unique extruded polystyrene foam substrate coated in reflective foil. A thin shiny reflecting film (IR film) covers three-millimeter sheets from above. Reflecting infrared (thermal) radiation from the warm film floor is necessary.

The substrate serves as a waterproofing layer, preventing moisture from penetrating the IR-film from below and causing a short circuit.

The three-milemma extrusion lower coating hides minor flaws in the black floor and stops the IR film and finish quartz-vinyl coating from distorting at the seams where the estimated and steaming plate sheets join.

Sergey adhered the substrate sheets together with the use of an adhesive strip.

Dislocation issues did not arise because the film was made using an accordion-style mechanism, which has a glue-striped allowance on one side. The man said, "I cut it to the right size and laid it out on the floor. I then glued the sheets together for sealing."

Layer No. 2: Subblate and sheets of warm floor

Sergei placed the infrared warm floor itself, the second layer’s framework, on top of the first. Prior to that, he divided an infrared film roll into multiple mats with the appropriate layout. The man clarified that because it is possible to overheat the infrared film, causing thermal deformation and destruction, the infrared warm floor cannot be covered beneath areas where heat is disturbed. Additionally, you are limited to using the area that is free of furniture on the infrared floor. This means that you cannot place cabinets, bedside tables, or toilets there.

Sergei adjusted the sensor, which was attached to the thermostat, to regulate the temperature beneath the infrared film. The sensor was put on the floor by the owner. This should be done beneath the film’s heating element (shown in the picture on the left in a black hue), as this is where the warm floor’s function is controlled.

Sergey made a deepening wire beneath the sensor and the wire in the substrate. This is required to prevent the sensor from protruding—that is, from sticking out—above the substrate’s surface. The sensor was fitted by the owner himself in the space between the oriented-brown stove’s sheets, removing any irregularities beneath the infrared woman.

Subsequently, the man installed the IK-Tale mats and linked the electrical cables.

– I created mats to run electricity using a separate plan. Three infrared heating mats were the end product.

I connected warm floors using a standard set of terminals and PV-3 wires. The cable sections selected based on the installed infrared film capacity. I have a 1.5 kV.mm section of wire. On one side of the IR film, I connected the phase wire to the copper vein, and on the other, to the zero. These cables were then attached to the thermostat’s output terminals that were mounted in the wall. The terminals employed pliers for compression, and bitumen tape was used to insulate the contacts—the locations where the wires are attached to the infrared film—said Sergey.

By using Wi-Fi, an Internet connection, and the thermostat, you can operate the warm floor both manually and remotely. For example, the owner can control the desired temperature in the house from the screen of his phone while in the apartment thirty kilometers away from the country house. Both an external sensor placed directly beneath the infrared film and the thermostat’s internal sensor, which displays the room’s air temperature, can be used to regulate the temperature.

Another requirement is to apply a 200 micron-thick plastic film to the floor in order to guarantee the safe functioning of heated floors. This kind of film is transparent to infrared light and is thought to be an effective barrier against sporadic bathroom water leaks.

Keep in mind that the temperature of warm floor heating is limited by the quartz vinyl coating manufacturers. It stays between 28 and 35 0 s because the coating releases harmful substances at higher temperatures. There is no need to worry that the waterproofing film will melt and the quartz vinyl tiles will overheat because the thermostat can be adjusted to a maximum temperature limit.

I used overlap to cover such a film on the walls. This is required to prevent water from seeping under the coating in the event of a leak. We will guard against the possibility of a wire and contact short circuit even in the event of a severe leak in this instance because of their increased insulation.

The man says, "I glued the joints with tape to ensure tightness after covering the film and making it overlook the walls."

Layer number 3: quartzvinil tiles

Sergey started the third layer—4.5 mm thick quartz vinyl tiles—after laying such a "pie."

-A warm floor cannot be installed over adhesive because it is a floating coating. The coating should and can "walk" as a result of temperature expansion when heated and cooled. It can be deformed, so it cannot be fixed rigidly. Because quartz vinyl tiles resemble laminate and have a castle connection, I was able to lay the entire floor in a few hours with little trouble at all.

I left little gaps in the walls’ deformation all around the perimeter. The frame house’s homemade heated floor is complete, but Sergey noted that there was still work to be done, including finishing the walls and skirting boards.
