Installation of flexible tiles of shinglass (technonic shinglas)
General recommendations for the installation of the soft roof of the shinglass
The primary components that guarantee the roof’s typical temperature-humidity regime are the windproofing material, vapor barrier, insulation of the necessary thickness (based on the region), and a ventilated undercarbon space.
Use flexible tiles with the same color codes and manufacturing dates on a single roof. Bitumen tile shades from various suppliers may vary slightly. Before installing, the professionals at EUROMET advise combining tiles from different packs to prevent color imbalance. You can slightly bend and shake the packaging before opening it to help the hounds detach from one another more gently.
Before installation, tile packaging needs to be placed in a warm room if the roof installation is done in a temperature lower than +5 °C. It is necessary to warm up a self-adhesive layer of material with a thermal (construction) hairdryer.
A special plank should be positioned underneath any soft roof to prevent damage to the lower coating.
The Shinglass Bitumen Tiles should be shielded from direct sunlight while being stored because the adhesive layer may become less effective as a protective film. Material-filled patinas cannot be kept on top of one another.
In bright, hot weather, you shouldn’t walk on the roofing because there might be shoe traces and stains left behind. On special lots, moving along the roof is advised.
Materials used
The flexible shing of shinglas is distinct from comparable goods made by other Russian producers thanks to its extensive color and cutting variation. There are currently 50 or so distinct flexible tile models available on the domestic market.
Materials for self-adhesive lining:
- Anderep Ultra – self -adhesive lining carpet of increased strength. High reliability of the material is achieved due to a strong polyester base and high-quality bitumen-polymer binder. The upper protective layer of the lining carpet is made of fine -grained sandy.
- Anderep Barrier – an unconscious self -adhesive material. A thick reinforcing film is used as the upper protective layer. The absence of the base allows you to maintain the integrity of the waterproofing material in case of deformation of the base.
Materials for linings that are mechanically fixed:
- Anderep Prof – has a strong polyester base and a non -slip upper polypropylene coating. Thanks to a special bitumen-polymer mixture, the material can be “self-adjusted”, that is, it retains tightness in the places of entry of nails.
- Anderep GL – lining material with bilateral protection of the polymer mixture in layers of fine -grained sandy.
Final carpet Technonikol
Rolling carpet made of bitumen and polymer is called Technonikol. It is constructed of polyester and has a coarse granulated basalt protective coating. utilized as a layer of waterproofing in yendov and areas that experience the highest loads.
Pedimental overhangs, cornice, and blood planks
Metal components covered in a unique anti-corrosion coating.
There are specific galvanized nails used. The nail’s length is 25–30 mm, its leg diameter is 3 mm, and its cap diameter is 9 mm.
Technonikol Mastic # 23 (Fixer)
Bitumen-polymer mastic for applying bitumen-based adhesives, such as flexible tiles, to a variety of surfaces.
Components for the apparatus with the necessary quantity of exhaust and supply holes to allow undercut ventilation.

Roofing material consumption
Tiles. In each packaging of the soft roof, the shinglass of the Country and Jazz series contains the amount of tiles sufficient for shelter 2 m 2 roofs (taking into account the overlap). In packaging flexible tiles Shinglas – 3 m 2 roofs. The calculation of the amount of material should be made taking into account the coefficient, the value of which depends on the complexity of the roof. The waste of bitumen tiles with the forms of cutting “Chord”, “Sonata”, “Dragon tooth” along with the skate-carnious tiles is up to 5%. For the rest of the tile, when calculating the amount of material, you should take into account the waste at the level of 10-15% (including consumption on the starting strip, skates and roof ribs).
Nails for roofing. Approximately 80 grams of roofing nails are needed for every square meter of roof.
Fixer, Mastic Technonikol # 23. The apple carpet consumes 400 g of mastic per meter. P., at the extremities: 100 g per m. P., roughly 750 g per meter for sealing adjacents. P. Avoid diluting the mastic with solvents and apply a layer that is one millimeter thicker than necessary as this may cause leaks and material swelling.
Preparation of a roofing basis for installation
1. Adaptable tile flooring
Pretty strict requirements are imposed on the base under soft tiles. It should be tough, continuous and even (changes are allowed in height of not more than 1-2 mm). Large -free flooring is laid with running seams, self -tapping screws or hazardous nails are used to fix it. When installing wooden flooring, you need to pay attention to fragments of annual rings and lay the material so that they are conversely converse. If the installation of the base from the OSP-3 or plywood is carried out in the cold season, between the sheets should be left a gap of 3 mm wide. This will avoid deformation of the flooring with the thermal expansion of the material in the summer.
The planks must be pre-sorted according to thickness before the flooring is installed. They are arranged so that the base’s thickness gradually varies. Additionally, the skate has thinner boards and thicker boards are laid closer to the cornice. The supports should have the joints on them; at these locations, the boards fasten with a minimum of four nails. The boards are fastened with two self-tapping screws on each side if wet wood is being used.
2. Reinforcing the overhanging cornice
To accentuate the cornice overhang, utilize metal cornice strips. These components shield the cornice zone roofing material from atmospheric precipitation. Roofing nails are used to secure cades to the edge of a continuous base. The nails are scored 12 to 15 centimeters apart in a checkerboard pattern. The strips overlap, and the hollows should be three to five centimeters wide. Nails clog in the hollow areas by two to three centimeters.
3. Putting the lining carpet in place
Any roof slope is accommodated by the lining carpet, which is installed all over the space. Anderep, or a comparable self-adhesive lining material, is placed in the yndovs and around cornice overhangs. It acts as an extra layer of defense where leaks are most likely to occur.
A self-adhesive lining carpet on cornice overhangs should be 60 centimeters wider than the cornice departure. As seen in the figure, the width of the cornice departure is measured from the plane of the inside of the building’s outer wall. The carpet’s lower edge should be two to three centimeters above the cornice bar’s rib.
In the yndovs, a self-adhesive lining carpet measuring one meter in width (each slope hids 50 cm). Continuous carpeting along the entire length is ideal. When utilizing multiple paintings, they are arranged in an overlapping manner. The overlaps should be 30 centimeters wide, and the seams need to be carefully glued.
Lining material with mechanical fixation of anderep or other similar material is mounted on the rest of the roof surface. The canvases are laid parallel to the cornice overhang. Installation of the lining carpet begins from the bottom of the roofing of a roof and gradually move up to the skate. The width of the overflow in the longitudinal direction should be 10 cm. The exception is lining materials on an organic basis (for example, bicard). For them, when laying on a roofing slope with a slope of up to 30 °, the width of the ground should be 60 cm, and with a slope of a slope of more than 30 ° – 10 cm. Wools of paintings in the transverse direction are made a width of 15 cm.
Galvanized nails with wide hats are used to secure the lining carpet; the nails are spaced 20–25 cm apart. The overlaps that are 8–10 cm wide are masticated using Technonikol No. 23 mastic.
Note. When installing flexible shinglas tiles with forms of “chord”, “sonata”, “trio”, “beaver tail”, it is allowed to mount lining material only in places where leaks are most likely. It is laid with stripes of 50 cm wide around the perimeter of the roof (and along the cornice over the over 60 cm above the plane of the inner surface of the walls, cm. rice.), 1 m width in yendov, 50 cm around the perimeter of attic windows and 1×1 m around the passage elements. The terms and terms of warranty are changed and become similar, as for the products of other manufacturers. The climate in various regions of Russia is significantly different, so this note does not apply to all regions, but only to the Central Federal District, the Southern Federal District, the FFO, the North Caucasus Federal District and the North -West.
4. Increasing frontal overhang strength
Pediments are strengthened with metal end planks. A checkerboard-patterned pattern of roofing nails, spaced 12 to 15 cm apart, are used to secure them on top of the lining material. The end strips overlap, the hollows should be three to five centimeters wide, and the nails in these areas become clogged after two to three centimeters. The upper corners are cut in extreme hounds and the shinglasses are smeared with mastic when installing a soft roof.
5. Endov preparation
Shinglas soft roofs can be installed in yendovs in two different ways: open and via the "cut" method. Whichever approach is used will determine how the yendova is prepared.
On the axis of the Endov (1) on top of the self-adhesive lining material (2), the apple carpet of Technonikol (3) with a displacement of 2-3 cm horizontally is laid. On the underside, the apple carpet around the perimeter of 10 cm from the edge is smeared with bitumen mastic technology. With the use of the open method of the apple, the apple carpet can be replaced by a metal strip with an anti -corrosion coating. Such a replacement is advisable for regions with a hot climate. Fix the apple carpet (or metal strip) with roofing nails, they are clogged at a distance of 2-3 cm from the edge of the material with a step of 20-25 cm. It is advisable to lay a continuous (without overlaps) apple carpet along the entire length. If this is not possible, parts of the carpet are laid over. The overlaps are made 30 cm wide, the material in these places must be carefully glued.
It is not necessary to mount the apple carpet when installing the valleys using the "cut" method.
6. Markings on roofing racks
When laying soft tiles, markings serve as the guide lines that help with vertical and horizontal alignment. This is particularly true if there are any structures that are carved out of the roof or if the roofing is installed incorrectly. Equal steps are applied to vertical lines. The material should be applied after roughly 80 centimeters apart, with 5 rows spaced between the horizontal lines. It is important to keep in mind that the marking serves only as a guide; it is not a manual for patching the bitumen roof.
Installation of the soft roof of the shinglass
1. Overarching guidelines for installing flexible tile shinglas
The racetracks from multiple packages are combined before installation begins, or the sheets are removed from each package in turn.
Should the shinglass styling be done at a low temperature (below +5 °C), the packaging needs to be kept in a warm room for a minimum of one day (above +20 °C). They then serve a number of packages right away before getting to work. A thermal (construction) hair dryer should be used to preheat a self-adhesive strip on the tile.
To avoid damaging the roofing underneath, cut the material while working on the roof using a fitted plank.
It is advised to slightly bend and shake the tile packaging before opening it to ensure that the races are kept apart.
You cannot walk on the installed roofing in hot, sunny weather because stains and traces may still be there. On special lots, you have to move along the roof.
2. Guidelines for repairing common tiles
Wide-hatted galvanized nails are used to secure each tile gon to the base. The roofing’s angle of inclination determines how many fasteners are needed. For gonts with a maximum slope of 45 °, four nails are used; for slopes greater than 45 °, six nails are used. To ensure that the hats are in the same plane as the soft roof and do not collide with its surface, the nails should be hammered in place and spaced evenly (see rice).
The figure indicates where the fasteners are located for all types of cutting. The ralics are nailed on both sides, two to three centimeters in from the edge.
3. The opening comic
A universal skate-carnine tile or the hounds of a regular soft tile with cropped petals are used for the starting strip.
Shallards with "chord" and "sonata" cutting patterns are laid using skate-carnis bitumen tiles as a starting strip. It is placed 1-2 centimeters above their excess (see rice) on top of the cornice. The length of the roofing and the angle of the slope determine how wide the indentation is on the bend of the cornice strips. The indentation should be wider the longer and cooler the slope.
When putting in flexible tiles, use shinglass with cut-out designs such as "beaver tail," "trio," "chord," and "sonata" for the beginning strip. You must apply mastic to the techno-nicol before placing their lower side in areas where there isn’t an adhesive layer. The mounting method for private tiles is the same as that of skate-carnis tiles.
It is not necessary to cut the beginning strip beneath the sheets that has the "Dragon Tooth" cutting shape; it is composed of hits of regular tiles. They are laid out in a similar manner.
4. Positioning the tiles in the first, second, and so on rows.
It is advised to begin laying the material in the middle of a long roofing slope in order to facilitate horizontal leveling. Move back one to two centimeters from the first (central) strip and place the first gont (see rice). In this instance, you should be aware that the joints of the elements of the starting strip and the hounds of the tiles in the first row do not line up.
It is necessary to install using diagonal stripes (see rice).
Laying a soft roof can be done in the shape of a pyramid, vertical strip, or diagonal stripes, depending on the shape of the cut (see drawings). Starting from the middle of the slope, the second row horses are laid with a horizontal displacement of half the petal in any direction with respect to the first row’s tiles. Simultaneously, the upper edge of the cutouts at the first row’s gunts and the lower edge of the second row’s tiles should be level.
The third row’s sheets are mounted in the same direction as the previous row, half a petal apart from the horses in the second row.
The Technonico bitumen mastic should be applied to the extreme hits of regular tiles in areas where the adhesive layer is absent, ten centimeters in width from the roof’s edge. They have 2-3 centimeter cuts made to their upper corners for a more useful water end.
Note: The Jazz series’ soft roof shinglas are installed with a 15–85 cm offset from the row before it. However, there is no requirement to follow a specific sequence; the general pattern ought to be amorphous (see rice).
5. Endova gadget
In the Yendov region, ordinary tiles are mounted on top of the apple carpet on two roofing ramps (see. rice.). Each gunt suitable for Endov is additionally fixed in the upper part by roofing nails (2) at a distance of at least 30 cm from the Endov axis (1). Then two lines are beaten off with a lace (3). An ordinary tile is cut along these lines, having previously put a plate under it so as not to damage the apple carpet. The upper corners of the 3 hounds suitable to line are cut for the end of water (4). On the bottom of the absence of the adhesive layer, the bitumen roof is smeared 10 cm from the line of the cut of the techno -monocol (5).
The building’s location and the size of the waterflower from roofing slopes determine the Endova’s groove width, which can range from 5 to 15 cm. The gutter is widened to make leaf removal easier if the building is situated among trees, as in a forest. The grooves are moved toward a smaller watercourse with a notably different waterflower from slopes in order to keep the roofing material dry.
When placing the valleys by the “cut” method, the levels are first laid on a slope, which has a smaller slope angle (see. rice.). At the same time, the sheets of Private Tiles should go to a steeper slope by at least 30 cm. In the upper part, each gont is additionally fixed with roofing nails (2) at a distance of at least 30 cm from the axis of the Endova (1). Когда скат с меньшим уклоном полностью укрыт, укладывают черепицу на втором скате. On a steeper roof slope at a distance of 7-8 cm from the Endov axis, the line is beaten off (3). On this line, sheets are cut, suitable for Endov from a coolest slope (it is recommended to put a plank under it so as not to damage the underlying material). The upper corners of the extreme hounds are cut for the end of water (4). On the bottom of the absence of the adhesive layer, these ralics are smeared with a width of 10 cm by the Bitumen mastic of Technonikol (5).
6. Slopes and skates’ device ribs
Skate-carnious tiles are used in this method. It was previously split into three sections by a perforation. For the installation of the "Sonata" and "Dragon tooth" soft roofs, skate-carnious tiles are utilized.
Edge: The racetracks that extend out onto the rib are sliced so that a 0.5 cm space exists between the tiles from neighboring slopes. There is a lace along the rib and two beaten down lines that serve as indicators. Starting from the bottom, place pliable tiles along the edge. Mounting elements should overlap by three to five centimeters. According to "Euroromet," each gon should be fastened with four nails (two on each side) so that the top closes the underlying fasteners.
Ovka. The skate’s soft roof is installed starting from the side that faces the direction of the local winds. It is installed in a manner akin to how tiles are installed on the roof’s ribs.
Tiles with cutting elements such as "Trio," "Sonata," "Dragon tooth," and "Beaver tail" can be cut out of the hits of regular tiles when using flexible shinglas to cover ridges and ribs. The top of the "sonata" will be visible in its cut form, while the bottom is closed (see rice).
The components are covered in technological mastic on the bottom where the adhesive layer is absent. The skate-carnious tile is used in the same manner as the shelter of skates and ribs with sidelines from regular tiles.
Important: It is advised to bend the components on a heated pipe with a diameter of roughly 10 cm when installing the soft roof of the shinglas of the series "Country," "Classic," "Jazz," and "Finnish tile" in cold temperatures (up to +5 °C). This will stop them from breaking.
7. Attaching pliable shingle tiles to curved surfaces (such as domes and cones)
Flexible shingle tiles can be installed on non-standard-shaped roofs in two ways: segmentally and seamlessly. It is necessary to lay a lining carpet before using any of them.
When installing tires segmentally on a dome or cone surface, the tire is divided into sections. The dimensions and form of the surface’s cover determine the size of the segments. Laces are used to beat off the lines. Every segment has a regular tile installed, and skating tiles—which resemble the roof’s ribs and skate—are installed at their joints. The size of the covered surface’s surface should likewise match the width of the ridge tiles.
1) a metal tip (fitted following tire installation);
2) vertical cutting lines (slope marking);
3) an entire tile petal;
4) One-half tile petal
5) Anderep carpet lining.
When laying tiles with a seamless method, special attention must be paid to the surface marking (see. rice.). At first, on its base, tags are made with chalk with a step equal to half the petal of the tile used. From these labels on the lining carpet (5), lines are drawn to the top of the surface of the covered surface (at the top of the line are connected). Ordinary tiles are cut into separate petals, the first row is mounted from them. The next row is shifted by half the petal relative to the previous row. The material for it is cut in accordance with the applied marking lines (2). When the width of the cut elements becomes half the original (4), the whole petals of the tiles begin to be used again for the next row (3). In this order, the roof is laid to the top of the surface. The top is decorated with a metal tip (1).
8. Cloth gadget
For a more smooth bend of materials at the place of adjustment of the wall to the roofing of a triangular shape, a rail is nailed (see. rice.). It can be made from a wooden beam cut through a diagonal with a cross section of 50×50 mm or use an ordinary wooden skirting board. If the wall adjacent to the roof is brick, it is previously plastered and price. Private tiles suitable for adjustment are bunched on a nailed rail. From the approval carpet, the techno -nibe cut stripes with a width of at least 50 cm. On the bottom of them, they are treated with a technonic with bitumen mastic and laid on top of the tile. The bands of the approval carpet are located so that they go to the wall by at least 30 cm (and in regions with large snow loads even higher). The upper edge of the junction of the junction is brought in the penalty and pressed with a metal apron. The structure is fixed mechanically and sealed with polyurethane, thiocol or silicone sealant.
The method of sealing the junction of the roofing with ventilation pipes and chimney is shown in the figure. Patins are made from the apple carpet or metal sheet with an anti -corrosion coating, they are cut and bend in these places. First, the front pattern is mounted on top of the hounding pipe Private Tiles. Then the side and last the back patterns are laid. They are being made under the races of the material. From the back and on the sides make a groove 80 mm wide. In the pipe of the hounds of the soft roof, the upper corners are cut for the end of the water. The lower side of these hits in the absence of a glue layer of 10 cm width is smeared with a technonic with bitumen mastic.
Create a m land (see rice) if the pipe’s cross section measures more than 50 by 50 cm and it is situated across a roof. By doing this, the pipe will not accumulate an excessive amount of snow.
A metal storm chipper is installed at the end of the roofing if its base is next to the wall (see rice).
9. Transitional components
Use special passing elements to seal the openings created by the roofs of communications pipes, antennas, etc. (see rice.). With nail compounds, the passage element is mechanically fixed. Ordinary bitmane tiles are arranged on it, cut, and fastened to the technician’s Technonikol # 23 mastic flange. The passage element is then fitted with an appropriate roofing output.
Techno-nitrate roofing ventilation components are isolated and unenvaded (see rice). They are a component of sewage and building ventilation systems. Since condensation does not intend to occur inside of them, it is recommended to use ventilation outputs isolated by polyurethane in areas with long, frosty winters. Installing caps on sewer roofing outputs is not advised because condensation builds up inside of them. It will obstruct normal ventilation when it’s freezing.
It is possible to install a cap without making internal cuts for a more visually pleasing roofing style (see rice.). It serves a decorative purpose in addition to keeping leaves and precipitation out of the pipe.
Care for the roof
- In spring and autumn, it is necessary to inspect the roof to check its condition and timely detect defects.
- Remove the foliage and small garbage from the roofing with a brush with soft bristles. It is impossible to use acute tools, this can lead to damage to the tile.
- Items with sharp edges are removed from the roof manually.
- Distribution funnels, gutters and pipes should be periodically checked and, if necessary, cleaned of garbage.
- In the case of accumulation on the roof of a large amount of snow, it is removed in layers with a non -rustle shovel. At the same time, to protect the roofing, a layer of snow is left with a thickness of about 10 cm.
- From time to time, the experts of the EUROMET company recommend checking the condition (and if necessary to repair) the metal parts, mounting holes, openings and other elements located on the roof.
Roof repair from flexible tiles of shinglass
Bitumen tiles from Shinglas are a durable roofing material. If there are small flaws in the roofing, you can fix them locally on your own. Simultaneously, it is critical to pinpoint the sources of the material’s damage and, if feasible, eliminate them. This can include things like improper installation, tree branches that are too close together, water-stagnating hollows, and more.
Soft roofing technological shingles, which are bitumen tiles with multiple layers, two layers, and one layer, are available. instructions for putting in the shinglass’s (technonic shinglas) soft roof.
In "All about the Roof," we explore the fundamentals of Shinglass Ranch Installation and provide a thorough how-to manual for homeowners wishing to replace their roofing. This article examines the advantages of Shinglass Ranch roofing, highlighting its energy efficiency, long-lasting nature, and attractive appearance. We go over every step of the installation process, emphasizing important factors like material selections, budgetary constraints, and upkeep advice. Installation of soft tiles of shinglas (shinglas) – special styling technology and secrets for the care of the roof
In the United States, the birthplace of Shingles, this roofing material is not the most popular choice among individual developers.
Shingles became well-known for a brief period of time because of the material’s high quality and ease of application, and demand for it is always rising.
In this post, we’ll go over comprehensive installation guidelines for flexible shingla tiles and discuss recommended roof maintenance. Visit this link to learn more about other kinds of soft roofs.
What are shingles
Shingles with flexible tiles are Three materials make up bitumen multilayer material modular size: fiberglass, bitumen composition, and basalt granulates. The production is packing packs in film, cutting racing, styling in commodity packs, and sintering two or more layers of material together.
Strength, durability, resistance to corrosion, lack of need for fungicide processing, and resistance to decay are all provided by fiberglass. Increased heat resistance due to improved bitumen composition permits material use without restriction in all climate zones.
Applying a layer of basalt helps shield against weather, UV rays, temperature changes, and mechanical harm. Adding a painted basalt sprinkle allows for the creation of distinctive color combinations that do not fade over time. The customer has access to 12 collections and 70 color design options to select the perfect shingles.
Modules, also known as races, are rectangular in shape and have curved cuts along the bottom edge; their configuration varies depending on the collection. Sand is scattered underneath the modules to keep them from sticking in packages. Additionally, a strip of adhesive composition is retained there to guarantee that the hounds will adhere to one another. A unique film is applied to the strip to protect it before installation. Because the races are arranged in rows, the coating’s waterproofing is dependable.
Everything about the qualities
Developers value this material and do not do so in vain. After using Shingles roofs for over a millennium, the following benefits became well known:
- Durability;
- Atmosphere, bio- and chemical- resistance;
- Physical characteristics;
- Simplicity of the roof of the roof of the shinglass;
- Excellent waterproofing properties;
- Economy;
- Environmental friendliness;
- Aesthetics.
Easy installation Give the following physical attributes: compact size, low volumetric weight, and flexibility.
Economy offers a convenient size and a low price when compared to analogs, which minimizes waste.
Environmental friendliness is attained by having no impact on the ecosystem and having the potential for secondary processing.
Aesthetics: a range of styles and a broad range of material colors enable each roof to be distinctive.
Adaptable shinglass tiles
A brief discussion of the drawbacks
Among the drawbacks are:
- Narrow temperature corridor of installation: from +5 to +27 ° C: at lower temperatures, the tiles before installation must be warmed up to 20 ° C, with higher ones – it cannot be loaded in order to avoid loss of forms;
- It is advisable not to walk on the finished coating;
- The angle of inclination of the roof for laying shingles is limited – from 12 to 40 °.
Technical characteristics of Shingles
There are currently three types of shingles produced by Technonikol plants: one-, two-, and three-layer. Technical details of additional kinds of soft roofs via link. Their technical indicator differs slightly from mine.

Installation of Shinglass – Preparing tools
For superior styling, excluding shingles We require instruments:
Extra supplies and goods Purchasing flexible tiles at the same time is convenient because the seller will advise you on what is needed and how much to pay for the set of kits you need, saving you from having to make extra trips. Thus:
- Lining material andoderep;
- Mastic of Technonikol No. 23 (Fixer);
- Vapor barrier;
- Galvanized nails;
- Ventilation systems – aerators, outputs, passing elements;
- Drainage system;
- Barry, end, adjoining strips.
The type and quantity of lining, drainage system components, and ventilation system components are contingent upon the kind of flexible tile, roof structure, and house height.
Preparatory work
The roof’s foundation, or rafter design, is determined by taking into account the amount of snowfall in the area, the roof’s pitch and span, and the house’s specific project. The type of system—hanging rafters, depending on Mauerlat, or having a design with struts and a central support—also affects the type of system.
The rafters are spaced no more than 0.9 meters apart. Increasing the step increases the profile of the beams, crams, and counterparts, which is just not economically viable.
It is slightly simpler to use a crate; the step is taken constructively at a distance of 35 cm, and the calculator also computes the profile. The subcutaneous space needs to be ventilated, which requires the crate. We place a vapor barrier material between the rafters and the crate to stop condensation from getting to the solid flooring, which serves as the foundation for tiling. This article describes a soft roof pie.
Looking over the roof Plastering and priming vertical brick or concrete surfaces—like chimneys—is necessary for the continuous flooring device.
A trimmingboard, moisture-resistant plywood or slab chipboard, fiberboard, and OSP-3 are some of the materials that can be used to make flooring. The slabs need to be installed in a run (seams displaced), with a 3–4 mm gap left at the joints to allow for material expansion due to temperature. Humidity on boards should not exceed 15–18%. To orient the convex part down, use annual rings.
We use a metal cornice bar to reinforce the overhanging cornice, nailing it in a checkerboard pattern at a distance of 120 to 150 mm. The strips are joined with a 3-5 cm overlap, and the joints are fastened after 2-3 cm. Details about the other components are provided here.
We installed a self-adhesive lining carpet in Endov and on the flooring’s cornice overhang:
- In the yendov – 1m width (50 cm for each slope);
